13 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 13 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 13 cases of the virus and 46 recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 425 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,046 including 655 deaths and 20,061 recoveries.
On Sunday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 38 new coronavirus infections.
