Asayish to remove all military presence from Syria’s Qamishli schools
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) said that they are working to remove all the military presencefrom the schools that the National Defense mercenaries had turned into military headquarters and points in al Tai neighborhood, south of the city of Qamishli.
It is worth mentioning that the Asayish took control of al-Tai neighborhood, after clashes with the pro-Syrian government National Defense groups on April 20.
“Our forces are working to achieve all appropriate conditions for children and their right to education, which they were deprived of during the years of the National Defense mercenaries’ control of the neighborhood,” the Asayish added.
In a statement obtained by North Press, the Asayish said that “a large number of people returned to their homes today, making sure that there are no violations against their homes and properties.”
The Asayish stated that their forces stationed in the neighborhood are ready to follow up “any complaint or inquiry from the people.”
They pointed out that they are fully committed to “all human rights standards and laws that preserve human dignity and rights.”
