Asayish finds depot for manufacturing explosives in Syria’s Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) that its forces found, on Sunday, a depot for manufacturing and storage of explosive shells and explosive devices in the town of al-Karama, east of Raqqa.
The official Asayish website reported that the depot belongs to ISIS.
It added that the depot contained improvised explosive devices, mortar shells, homemade rockets, and stuffing small missiles.
The Asayish imposed a security cordon around the depot site, after which the explosive materials were seized and transported to places designated for remnants of war and remnants of the military operations that Raqqa witnessed.
On April 2, an Asayish member was killed and another was wounded in a mine explosion targeting a funeral procession for a formerly killed member in the town of al-Karama.
