IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, armed opposition groups bombed sites of the Syrian government forces on the contact lines in the southern countryside of Idlib, northwest Syria.
Al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room targeted the government forces’ positions in the village of al-Dar al-Kabira in Zawiya Mountain, southern countryside of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells and Grad rockets, local source told North Press.
The targeting resulted in direct casualties among the government forces, the source added.
Areas of northwest Syria are included in the ceasefire agreement signed by Turkey and Russia in March 2020, after a military campaign in the region.
The al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room includes Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza and National Front for Liberation affiliated with the Syrian National Army.
