Turkey conducts single military patrol in Syria’s southern Idlib
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Turkish forces conducted a single military patrol on M4 Highway in southern countryside of Idlib amid broad alert among Turkish soldiers and military points.
“On Tuesday morning, Turkish military vehicles walked alone on M4 Highway from al-Tarnaba, reaching Ain al-Hoor area north of Lattakia,” a local source told North Press.
“The Turkish forces intensively deployed on the highway amid intense flight of Turkish drones over the region,” the source added.
On February 11, the Turkish forces conducted military trainings with Russian forces in the city of Saraqeb, east Idlib, aiming at re-conducting joint military patrols on the M4 Highway.
Idlib and parts of the countryside of Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia are subjected to an agreement between Russia and Turkey to stop military operations in the fourth de-escalation zone.
