IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded two new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
Syria’s northwest are witnessing a noticeable decline in the coronavirus infections according to the announced statistics since mid-January.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that it tested 482 suspected cases, reporting 40 recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,288, including 637 deaths and about 19,455 recoveries.
