North Syria’s Jazira Health Board calls for implementation of preventative measures

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Health Board in Jazira region in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria called on residents of the area to adhere to the preventative measures and physical distancing.

During the past period, Jazira has witnessed a noticeable increase in coronavirus infections and deaths. 

The Health Board pointed out, “It still poses a serious risk and confronting it requires community solidarity at all levels.”

The total toll of the coronavirus infections in north and east Syria reached 9,665 including 369 deaths and 1,293 recoveries.
