Syria’s northwest records four new coronavirus infections

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded four new coronavirus infections and in northwest Syria.

The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that it tested 296 suspected cases, reporting 16 recoveries.

On Thursday, the Interim Government recorded six new infections and 48 new recoveries.

With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,286, including 637 deaths and about 19,369 recoveries.
