Syria’s Interim Government areas records six coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded six new coronavirus infections and 48 recoveries in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that it tested 477 suspected cases, reporting no deaths.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,282, including 637 deaths and about 19,353 recoveries.
On March 25, northwest Syria regions recorded 4 infections and 7 recoveries.
