IED exploded in Syria’s north Deir ez-Zor, casualties reported

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, two members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) were killed and four others were wounded due to an IED explosion in a military vehicle in the village of Sa’da, in  al-Sowar district, north of Deir ez-Zor.

“An IED exploded on the main road in the village of Sa’da when a Hilux military vehicle was passing by, killing two members,” a military source told North Press. 

“Four other members were seriously wounded, as they were hospitalized for treatment,” the source added. 

The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor witnesses assassinations and bombings targeting sites and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces, amid security restrictions carried out by the forces.
