Russian air raids on Syria’s north Idlib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Russian warplanes bombarded the bordering regions north of Idlib, northwestern Syria and targeted they also targeted the IDP camps with a long-range missile.

“Russian warplanes targeted factories of Watad Petroleum on the road leading to the region of Sarmada near Bab al-Hawa border crossing, with high-explosive missiles,” field sources told North Press.

“The air raids also targeted the northern outskirts of Sarmada and fuel stations near Bab al-Hawa border crossing, fires broke out,” the sources added.

Besides, the Russian warplanes launched air raids on regions in south Idlib with high-explosive missiles, without casualties reported, according to local sources.

Meanwhile, the Russian forces stationing in Hemeimim military base, targeted agricultural lands near the town of Qah, north of Idlib.

The town includes IDP camps, where a state of fear prevailed among the IDPs.

The targeting resulted in the injury of two civilians including a child, in addition to huge material damage.
