Rocket fire by government forces in Syria’s east Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday evening, the Syrian government forces based in Koweires military airport bombed fuel markets in al-Hamran region in the countryside of Jarablus, east Aleppo.
The bombing also affected Terhin region in the countryside of al-Bab after the fall of long-range ballistic missiles from the Koweires military airport.
“The indiscriminate bombing led to huge fires in the fuel burners,” a special source told North Press.
“The Turkish military base in Jabal Aqil area, near al-Bab, targeted the positions of the Syrian government forces in Nabl, Zahra’ and Tadef towns with heavy artillery,” the source added.
On February 9, surface-to-surface missiles hit fuel burners in the town of Terhin which resulted in the killing of five civilians and the injury of ten others.
