Opposition groups shell government posts in Syrian’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, Syrian opposition groups shelled Syrian government posts in the governorate of Idlib, northwest Syria, which has been subjected to a ceasefire agreement.
“Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room targeted a building where government forces were stationed in Milaja village, south Idlib, with a missile, killing and wounding several soldiers, military sources from the opposition told North Press.

“Opposition groups targeted government forces’ posts in the city of Saraqib, east Idlib, and the town of Hizareen, south Idlib, with heavy artillery and mortar shells,” they added.
This military escalation comes at a time when Idlib governorate and parts of other provinces are subjected to the Moscow-Ankara agreement, which provides for the cessation of hostilities in the de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria.
