Targeting car of official in Deir ez-Zor council in Syria’s Abu Hamam
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – An IED exploded on Tuesday near a car of an official of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council in the town of Abu Hamam in Syria’s eastern city of Deir ez-Zor.
The explosion limited to material loses only with no casualties, according to a source from the town.
On Saturday the residents of the town protested demanding the local councils and civil council to improve the service conditions in the town.
The source stated that the official was in the town of Abu Hamam in order to listen to the residents’ demands regarding the service conditions.
