Unidentified armed attack kills, injures people in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A man died and another was injured on Thursday  in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, Syria, after being shot by two unidentified men riding a motorcycle.

The two unidentified men shot at Khaled Khalifa, an official in the fuel office of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, and his brother Aboud, a member in a commune in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Aboud was transferred to a hospital in Deir ez-Zor for treatment, and his brother succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing intensive operations by ISIS. A civilian was killed on Wednesday in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside after being shot by unidentified men who were driving a motorcycle.

Furthermore, unidentified armed men targeted three tribal figures on Monday who were driving on the Jedid Akidat-Sabha road.

Two civilians were killed on Monday after being shot by unidentified men in Khesham town in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.
