The Syrian Air Force Intensifies Raids on Southern Idlib countryside
Syrian government forces and their Russian allies have intensified their air offensive campaign on the villages and towns of Idlib, where warplanes and helicopters intensified raids on residential areas and agricultural land.
North Press correspondent reported that the northern villages of Hama were subjected to a bombing campaign by the warplanes targeting the villages and towns of Kafr Nabudah, Tal Hawash, Harsh Al-Karkat, Middan Ghazal, Sher Maghar, Al-Sahriya, Hamra, Kafr Zeita and Al-Lataminah.
Helicopter aircraft also targeted northern and western neighborhoods of Kafr Nabudah as well the outskirts of Morak, Al-Sayyad, Al-Arbaeen and Al-Zakat in the northern Hama countryside.
The Syrian helicopters and warplanes shelled villages and towns of Khan Shaykhun, Habayt, Abdin, Kafrsajna, Madaya, Qasabiya, Mughar Al Hamam, Sheikh Mustafa, Kafr Nabl, Hish, Hass and Ma’ra Hormah.
These raids, mostly on roads and farmland, set fire to agricultural land north of Khan Shaykhun and east of Maarrat al-Nu’man.
Furthermore, violent clashes caused deaths and injuries between the parties in light of failed attempts of the government forces on the front of Kafr Nabudah, Tell Huwash and towards the Harsh al-Karkat, after the opposition forces managed to control advanced points.
Aircrafts have returned since early morning to fly and the bombing campaign, which has been uninterrupted for more than 30 hours, continues unabated.
The raids caused a death in Khan Shaykhun, a child was killed in Kafr Nabl, as well as several of casualties.
The Syrian government forces returned its progress to the city of Kafr Nabudah at dawn yesterday where a group of government forces infiltrated the town’s neighborhoods then the connection lost with them.
