Renewed Bombardment on Idlib and Hama Claimed a Mounting Number of Killed and Wounded

Air and ground bombardments targeting areas in Idlib and Hama governorates were renewed Friday morning and overnight, as part of the ongoing escalation in the area.

The Syrian air force targeted Kafr Jales surroundings and areas in Kafar Aweed, Abdeen, Deir Sunbul, Harish Binin and Khan Shaykhun in Idlib countryside.

Similar shelling also targeted Kafr Zita, Tall as-Sayyad, al-Arbaeen, Aljesat, Ltamenah, Morek and Al Enkawi in the northern and northwestern Hama countryside, according to North Press.

The shelling caused fires set in private properties in Khan Shaykhun and other areas.

 Active rescue teams in the area (Civil defense) with the help of the residents of the area were able to extinguish the fires.

North Press recorded an increase in the number of deaths to /9/ in the areas of Ma`arat al-Nu`man, Fatterah, Kafr Zita and Kafar Roma in Edlib countryside and Hama, including 3 children and 3 women.

The escalation of the shelling during the past 24 hours has resulted in more than 25 wounded, more than half of them were children and women in different parts of Idlib governorate.
