Mounting number of killed in Idlib and the escalation reaches Latakia Mountains, Idlib, and its surroundings

The death toll in Idlib and its surroundings has increased over the last 24 hours, coinciding with the return of aerial and ground bombardment to target the area and cause further damage and destruction of infrastructure.

The number of people killed rose to /5/persons due to the Syrian air force raids and shelling on the village of Ziadiyah in the Jisr al-Shughur countryside, Kafar Aweed and Harsh Benin in the southern countryside of Idlib.

According to “North Press”, the shelling left more than 10 injured in the mentioned areas and on Ehsim town as well as destruction of private and public properties.

While the Syrian Air Force bombed on Saturday morning the areas of Kafar Aweed, Tramla, Sufuhon, Karsaa, Faqie and Ehsim in the southern countryside Idlib, with similar targeting to Kafr Zita town in the northern part of Idlib governorate.

Last night hours witnessed fierce clashes between the armed opposition factions and the Syrian government forces in Kabanah, Kurd Mountains, in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia, coincided with the escalation of aerial and ground bombardment of the area.

The escalation in Latakia countryside was coincided with raids by the Russian Air Force on Hobait and Khan Shaykhun, with a ground bombardment targeting Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama.
