Counter-Terrorism Forces Capture ISIS Sleeper Cells in Raqqa and Manbij

Counter-terrorism Units of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) in North and East Syria carried out two breaking-in early this morning in the city of Raqqa and in the outskirts of Manbij near Tishreen dam northern Syria, according to special sources from inside the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The sources indicated that the two operations resulted in the capture of five active members of ISIS sleeper cells.

Islamic State’s sleeper cells have recently increased their attacks, causing death to many civilians and military commands in several areas in the Autonomous Administration territories in North and East Syria.
