Fierce clashes took place early this morning on the axis of Midan Ghazal in Shahshabo Mountain, close to the Turkish observation post, where Syrian government forces tried to advance to the village, but resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries among government members as they withdrew back to their points.
The Syrian and Russian Air Forces continued their air raids on the villages and towns of the southern countryside of Idlib, where they targeted Khan-Shaykhun, Habeet, Hesh, Rakaya, Maarzita, Kafar Sijnah, al-Tamanah, Sheikh Mustafa, Ma’aret Hurmah, al-Arba’een, Baarbu, al-Naqeer, Abdin, Tramla, Shahranaz and Sheikh-Dames.
The raids intensified their targeting using cluster bombs on residential neighborhoods and public roads, causing two deaths and several injuries.
While violent clashes with artillery and rocket shelling took place this morning between the Syrian government forces and the opposition armed groups on the axis of Qasabiyeh, southern Idlib countryside, and on the axis of Kafr-Nabudah in the northern countryside of Hama.
On Wednesday, the opposition armed groups tried to target Hmeimim, the Russian Air Base in Syria, with drones, but their operation was failed as the drones were destroyed by Russian air defense systems.
