Two ISIS sleeper cells members captured in al-Hawl, northeast Syria

Special Units of the Internal Security Forces in north and east Syria (HAT) have captured two members of the Islamic State’s sleeper cells in the villages of Al-Hini and Abu Fashga of al-Hawl town, eastern Hasakah.

Special sources from the Syrian Democratic Forces told North-Press that the security operation took place at the dawn hours of Sunday, and led to the acquisition of weapons and ammunition were held by those cells.

It’s noteworthy that during the past period, ISIS sleeper cells have conducted several armed attacks, causing many casualties among civilians and military in different parts of north and eastern Syria.
