The Afrin Liberation Forces (Kurdish forces active in the northern countryside of Aleppo) have killed six members of Turkey-backed armed opposition groups, while wounded six others, during two separate operations carried out by the forces in northern Aleppo countryside.
In a statement which was published on Saturday, Afrin Liberation Forces said that it had carried out an operation yesterday targeting locations and fortifications of the Levant Front in the village of Kafr Khasher in Azaz, causing loses.
The statement indicated that on Friday the forces have detonated an IED in a military vehicle which belongs to the Levantine Front near the city of Marea, killing two members, in addition to destroying the vehicle.
This coincided with the Turkish army and its affiliated armed groups’ shelling by tanks artillery shells at the villages of Mengh, Ein Daqna and Tal al-Madik in northern Aleppo countryside.
It is noteworthy that Afrin Liberation Forces conduct military operations against the Turkish army and its affiliated Syrian Islamist armed groups in the cities of Afrin and al-Bab from time to time.
