Explosions in Russian warehouses, repeated targeting of HTS leaders

Different areas in Idlib and Hama countryside have witnessed artillery shelling and targeting of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) headquarters and Russian forces’ warehouses.

While Russian forces have targeted the city of Kafr Nabl, the towns of Kafr Sijnah and Kafr Awaid, villages west of Jisr al-Shughour and Sheikh Mustafa in the western and southern countryside of Idlib with artillery shelling, this morning.

While an explosion was heard in the town of Tarhin, near the city of Jarablus, northeast of Aleppo, as a result of an explosion of an explosive device (IED), where “Ahrar al-Sham” militant was trying to dismantle it, as it was planted in the car of a militia leader, loyal to the Turkish military, causing him serious injuries, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Meanwhile, the toll of injuries in Jarablus rose yesterday to 14, in addition to a person who died of his wounds.

In a related context, according to a source told North-Press reporter, a series of successive explosions took place on Saturday evening, at Russian military warehouses, and others belonging to the Syrian government forces near the town of Hayalin, near the city of al-Suqail,-Suqaylabyah, in the northwest of Hama governorate.

In January of this year, the Russian forces placed a military base at Tal Salba near the town of Hayalin, one of the most important strategic points west of Hama.

Moreover, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets had launched a series of raids yesterday morning, targeting the operation room of “Ajnad al-Kavkaz” (Chechen-led jihadi Islamist radical group), in the vicinity of the town of Balisa, east of Idlib, during a meeting gathered them with HTS leaders, killing and wounding dozens of militants.
