On Wednesday, Russian and Turkish forces conducted a joint patrol on the Latakia-Aleppo (M4) highway.
Today, Wednesday, Turkish and Russian forces conducted a joint patrol that started from the village of Tarenba, near Saraqeb, to the town of al-Nairab, in the southeastern countryside of Idlib province in northwestern Syria.
Earlier, a field source told North-Press that the Turkish military-backed police are accompanied by vehicles, and they are redeploying on the Arihah al-Nairab (M4) highway along to Tarenba, amid a state of alert in the region due to the sit-in and the armed opposition groups, in preparation for the conduct of the joint patrol.
Last Monday, Turkish forces forcibly removed the sit-in point near al-Nairab, among the other three points on the M4 highway, to conduct its joint patrols with Russia.
On the 15th of March, Turkish and Russian forces conducted the first joint patrol on the M4 highway, in implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Idlib region, where the patrol started from the town of Tarenba, two kilometers from the town of Saraqeb.
