Turkish bombardment of two villages in northern Syria’s Afrin region

On Wednesday, Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups bombed areas in the countryside of Afrin, in northern Aleppo, damaging local civilians' properties.

 

A local source from the northern countryside of Aleppo told North-Press that today, Wednesday, at 12:30 PM, Turkish forces and affiliated armed groups targeted the villages of Burj al-Qas and Kalouta in the Shirawa district of Afrin region in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

The source indicated that 7 mortar shells hit the two villages, and resulted in material damage to locals' property. 

 

On the 12th of April, Turkish forces and affiliated armed opposition groups bombarded the village of Musherifeh in the countryside of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa governorate.
