At midnight, Saturday-Sunday, Syrian government forces bombed areas in Jabal al-Zawiya in the Idlib countryside, resulting in the deaths of two people. Meanwhile, armed opposition groups targeted a Syrian government vehicle in the same area.

Syrian government forces shelled the villages of Kansafra, al-Fatira, and Sufohn in the eastern countryside of Maarat al-Numan, resulting in two deaths.
Armed opposition groups stationed in Jabal al-Zawiya responded by bombing Syrian government positions on the al-Fatira front, damaging a Syrian government excavator in the process of fortifying berms and injuring its driver.

Three days ago, the region witnessed government forces’ bombing of opposition forces’ points amid flights of Russian reconnaissance aircraft. The M4 highway also witnessed the passage of two joint Russian-Turkish patrols, the last of which was suspended for unknown reasons.
