Syrian government forces shell Hama, reinforce their headquarters in Saraqeb
HAMA, Syria (North Press) – Government forces targeted two villages in the northwestern countryside of Hama on Wednesday, in conjunction with receiving reinforcements in Saraqeb. Meanwhile, a Turkish military convoy entered the Idlib area.
Furthermore, government forces shelled areas in the Dowair Akrad and Ziyara villages in the Ghab plain in the northwestern countryside of Hama. No information has been received about the damage and losses caused by the shelling so far.
Early this week, government forces shelled areas in Jabal Turkman in Latakia countryside, and the villages of Ruwaiha, Dier Sunbul and Bara in Zawiya Mountain in the southern countryside of Idlib with artillery.
Government forces received military reinforcements on Tuesday in the Saraqeb area southwest of Idlib, in conjunction with the reinforcements that reached points and headquarters of armed opposition groups and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Moreover, a Turkish military convoy entered through Kafr Losin border crossing with Tukey to Turkish sites and observatory points in Idlib on Wednesday.
The number of vehicles that entered Idlib exceeded 4,095, as well as thousands of soldiers, since the beginning of the ceasefire agreement signed between Putin and Erdogan in early March in Moscow, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
