Turkish groups bomb Ein Issa and Tel Abyad, north Syria

EIN ISSA/TEL ABYAD, Syria (North Press) – Turkish-backed armed opposition groups targeted the countrysides of the cities of Ein Issa and Tel Abyad (Gre Spi) in northern Syria on Sunday.

Local sources told North Press that the armed groups targeted the villages of Hurriya, Kor Hassan, and Qaz’ali Silos in the Tel Abyad (Gre Spi) countryside, in addition to the village of Hoshan Xarbi in the countryside of Ein Issa, with artillery shells.

Villages surrounding Ein Issa, Tel Abyad, and Tel Tamr are subjected to daily attacks with heavy weapons and artillery by Turkish forces and their affiliated groups, in disregard of the UN initiative calling for a humanitarian truce to focus on confronting the dangers of the coronavirus outbreak.
