Almost five civilians lost their lives and others were wounded on Thursday in a VBIED explosion in Sere Kaniye, which is controlled by Turkish-backed opposition groups.

Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish-backed armed opposition groups took control of the cities of Sere Kaniye and Tel Abyad and their surrounding countryside in October of 2019.
