Dozens of families sent back to their towns in northeastern Syria – Al-Hawl camp

On Sunday, the administration of al-Hawl camp has evacuated a new batch of displaced Syrians from the camp to their villages and towns. A source from the camp’s administration, which is run by the Autonomous Administration of northeastern Syria told North-Press that they had evacuated 40 families consisting of 141 people.
The source added that the majority of those evacuated from the camp, including women and children were residents of villages and towns on the eastern bank of the Euphrates, including Serrin.
Sheikhmous Ahmed, the director of the Displaced and Refugees Affairs Office in northeastern Syria had earlier told North-Press: “During the last four months, the camp’s administration has evacuated about 1,092 women and children from the cities of Raqqa, Tabqa, Manbij and Deir ez Zor from al-Hawl camp, east of Hasakah to their areas”.
Since the meeting of the Syrian tribes in Ein Issa, northern Syria on May 3, the administration of al-Hawl camp with the auspices of the tribal leaders and figures in the region, has started to send batches of displaced people to their villages and towns in north and eastern Syria.
