On Thursday, the Syria Response Coordinators team documented the return of 256,487 IDPs to the rural areas of Aleppo and Idlib since the 5th of March until today.
In a statement posted on its Facebook account, the Syria Response Coordinators team said that during the last 72 hours, the numbers of displaced people returning to their villages and towns in the countrysides of Idlib and Aleppo reached, 21,890 IDPs.
The team added that the number of returnees since the 5th of March until today has reached 256,487.
The team called on all humanitarian organizations and agencies to respond urgently to assist returnees from various regions to the Idlib and Aleppo governorates.
The team renewed the call to improve the situation of the camps throughout the region, due to more than 6,355 families within 73 camps suffering the effects of rainstorms and windstorms last winter.
