Manbij women
While Hamida al-Samran, who is a citizen from the city of Manbij, said that they were living injustice and oppression during the Islamic State’s control over the city, “especially the women were deprived of their rights, where unfair conditions were laid against them regarding leaving house and imposing a black dress on her.”
Al-Samran added that “the dignity of the women returned after the liberation of Manbij from ISIS, and then the women participated in all fields of work, and there is now a common coexistence among the components of the city of Arabs, Turkmen, Circassians and Kurds.”
