Al-Hasakah – North-Press Agency

An Islamic State old woman from the Republic of Azerbaijan has committed a brutal crime by killing her little granddaughter because of uncovering her face, in Al-Hawl camp, in Syria’ northeastern governorate of Hasakah.

North-Press correspondent quoted security sources in Al-Hawl camp that “Hadiyyah Abbas” 61old years woman from Azerbaijan, had killed her 14-year-old granddaughter “Gul Su Omran”, by using a hammer.

North-Press obtained photographs of the girl after her autopsy at “Al-Sha’ab” hospital in Hasakah, which showed bruises on her body, specifically around the neck, belly, and thigh.

According to the medical report, the victim has traces of bruises below the lower jaw and above the throat area of 7cm wide and 12cm long, as North-Press got a copy of the report.

The medical report also reveals there’re fractures in the neck due to the press on the throat, along with cracks in the belly.

The report also confirmed that the victim was struck repeatedly and strangled, leading to apnea and heart failure, as the little girl stayed 15 hours before being taken to the hospital.

After getting permission from the security authorities, North-Press was able to interview the offender old woman who is currently under arrest by the Internal Security Forces (Asayish).

The ISIS old woman came to Syria in 2014 with her three children who joined the Islamic State group, two of them, a young girl and a man, were killed while fighting in the ranks of ISIS at different times.

However, the jihadi old woman denied the crime she’d committed, by saying: “I don’t want to fall into mazes, my granddaughter is the one who killed herself because she has her Jinn (demon), where she looks like crazy when he comes to her.” The security forces in the camp confirm that all the evidence is against the old woman and prove that she’d killed her granddaughter.

Al-Hawl camp contains about 62.000 refugees and IDPs of Iraqis and Syrians, along with thousands of Islamic State families, who have been put in a private sector under strict guardianship by the Internal Security Forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

Analysts describe the families and wives of ISIS militants in Al-Hawl camp as a “time bomb” due to the radical thoughts they have in their minds, and the dangers they could cause to others because of the many years they’ve spent among the ranks of the terrorist group.
