NE Syria SDC Senior Official demands U.S. Observation of Used Weapons by Turkey

Ilham Ahmed, the president of the Executive Council of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), the political wing of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) called on the United States administration to open an investigation into Turkey's use of internationally banned weapons, while condemning the bombing on Tal Abyad (Gre Spi), while stressing that the SDC representatives should be engaged in the constitutional committee. Ahmed demanded "an investigation into Turkey's use of internationally prohibited weapons, as well as observing U.S. weapons used by Turkey, and prohibiting their sale."
Moreover, she also condemned yesterday's bombing in the town of Tal Abyad (Gre Spi), and said that the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups were behind the bombing to force the city's indigenous people to flee.

"I condemn the terrorist attack which has killed 13 civilians in Tal Abyad. Turkey's affiliated armed groups are behind this bombing to oblige all locals to flee and bring demographic change. Turkey is creating chaos," she stated on her Twitter account.
Yesterday, the Turkish Defense Ministry accused the the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) of the bombing, as it kills innocent civilians."

In another tweet, Ahmed mentioned the works of the Constitutional Committee, where she said: "If it does not include the actual leaders and the legitimate representatives, the constitution will only be a paper. The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) should also be invited.”

While the SDC issued a statement yesterday, stressing the readiness of the Autonomous Administration in northeastern Syria to start negotiations with the Syrian government without preconditions in accordance with the national principles agreed upon by all Syrians, namely the unity of Syria and the integrity of its sovereignty.
Furthermore, The statement stressed that the willingness to negotiate would invalidate every misconception and every misleading claim that the Autonomous Administration is seeking division.
