“We are now in Tal Tamr, we will reach Ras al-Ain and liberate the entire Syrian territories from the occupation”, as the field commander of the Syrian military batch, which had arrived in the village of al-Agheibesh, said.
The Syrian government forces have brought light and medium weapons to locate at the bordering points, as the Autonomous Administration announced in a statement.
The local residents welcomed the agreement, where citizen Ammar Rashad said: “We are all hand in hand against the Turkish occupation”.
For his part, citizen Abdo Sa’doun al-Hassan said: “We need each other, Christians, Kurds, Circassian and Arabs, we are brothers and one hand”.
The deployment of the Syrian government forces in some areas in north and east of Syria came in the context of an initial agreement between the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian government, after the Turkish forces in cooperation with the armed opposition groups (the National Army) launched an invasion on areas of northern Syria, and targeted the Syrian towns of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad.
The Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria has made it clear in a statement published today that, the agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian government is a military understanding in order to protect the Syrian borders and the Syrian sovereignty against “the Turkish aggression”.
