SDC denies sending delegations to Damascus, Jordan, and Russia

The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) has denied reports which were published by some broadcasting media claiming sending SDC  delegations to Damascus, Jordan, and Moscow, “to discuss the current developments and the future of the Eastern Euphrates region”.

The media office of the SDC has confirmed in an explanation to the public that, “this news is fake and fabricated”.

“This news comes within the framework of influencing the public opinion, and disrupting the council’s work at the current stage,” according to the media office of SDC.

In a related context, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spokesman Kino Gabriel denied the news of signing an agreement between their forces and Damascus to hand over some villages in Raqqa countryside to the Syrian government forces.

Mr.Gabriel said in his statement: “Some of the broadcasting media have published news as claimed by the Russian Ministry of Defense that these media outlets have interpreted the news came as a response to the US-Turkish agreement regarding the safe zone.”

SDF spokesman also called on the media outlets to be “accurate in publishing the news and to look for reliable sources that confirm or deny the contents of the news.”
