Government forces send reinforcement to Hama battlefront
With fighting acceleration interruptedly on the touchline with armed opposition factions, Syrian government forces send reinforcements.
North Press was informed that reinforcements had arrived to Shahshabbo Mountain, Tel Osman and Al-Sqailbiyeh village vicinities north-west of Hama.
A convoy of armored vehicles and tanks were seen during their crossing the road between Hama and Meharda towards Al-Sqailbiyeh.
Military sources confirmed that reinforcements come as a precaution procedure in light of attacks by armed opposition fighters against their opponent areas in Hama countryside.
Along with the reinforcements, there is a talk about a truce in no-escalation areas including Idlib and Hama.
During last 24 hour, armed opposition factions launched an attack against Sahel Al-Ghab in north-west of Hama countryside where they advanced to some sites then pulled out later.
Fighting had been escalated in north-east of Lattakia countryside after days of quiet, and that after it turned to north-west of Hama and the progress made by government forces in the area.
Turkish president Receb Tayyip Erdogan had made a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin before, asked him to respect the truce in Idlib.
The targeted region is subject to Turkish Russian agreement about the establishment of demilitarized zone separates Syrian government forces from armed opposition factions backed by Turkey, but the agreement hadn’t been completed yet.
