QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Syria’s anti-narcotics administration said on Monday it seized large quantities of drugs in Latakia and dismantled a “criminal network” involved in drug trafficking, arresting three of its members.
The agency said the operation resulted in the seizure of 45 kilograms of hashish, 25,000 Captagon pills, 400 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and two firearms.
The suspects and seized items were referred to the relevant judicial authorities for legal action, the agency said.
