Israeli forces raid homes, arrest four residents in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces on Monday arrested four young men, including three brothers, during a new incursion into western Daraa, southern Syria, amid gunfire and damage to residents’ homes, according to local sources.

Local sources told North Press that an Israeli force consisting of 12 military vehicles and two armored personnel carriers, which came from the al-Jazeera military base, entered Abdin village.

The sources said the forces stopped their vehicles in the valley and proceeded on foot into the village. Upon arrival, they set up five checkpoints inside the village while raiding a large number of homes and using police dogs to search for weapons.

The sources said Israeli forces arrested four young men, including three brothers.

The raids were accompanied by gunfire and damage to homes, while tensions prevailed in Abdin village, according to the sources.
