Israeli forces raid village in Syria’s Quneitra, detain resident
QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces on Monday entered the village of Taranjah in northern Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, with several military vehicles and detained a resident during a pre-dawn raid.
The operation followed Israeli artillery shelling on Sunday that targeted the area around Taranjah with four shells.
On the same day, another Israeli force detained a resident during a raid in the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah in northern Quneitra before later releasing him.
According to Syria’s state-run news agency SANA, Israeli forces raided several homes in Taranjah, searched the properties and detained one resident before taking him into the occupied Golan Heights. The force later withdrew from the area.
