Barzani, U.S. envoy Barrack discuss regional developments

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani held a phone call on Sunday evening with the U.S. Special Envoy to Syria, Thomas Barrack, to discuss political developments in the region, according to media reports.

During the call, the two sides exchanged views on the general political situation in the Middle East, as well as the latest changes and developments in Syria.

According to the reports, Barzani and Barrack agreed on the importance of continuing efforts to prevent tensions, unrest, and armed confrontations, and to work toward peace and stability across the region.
