SDF conducts over 20 anti-ISIS operations with Coalition support in one month
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Thursday that more than twenty operations targeting Islamic State (ISIS) cells were carried out over the past month with direct support from the US-led Global Coalition.
In a statement published on its official website, the SDF expressed deep appreciation for the Coalition’s continued assistance in bolstering security and stability across Deir ez-Zor and other areas in North and East Syria.
The statement confirmed that the Coalition provided operational support for over twenty security and military missions aimed at dismantling active ISIS networks and sleeper cells. These operations were concentrated in areas historically vulnerable to extremist resurgence.
According to the SDF, the Coalition’s involvement significantly enhanced field efficiency and expanded the scope of preventive operations. The joint efforts reportedly disrupted several ISIS-linked activities and contributed to safeguarding civilian populations in the region.
The SDF emphasized that this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to continuing the fight against ISIS, serving the security and stability of local communities and Syrians at large.
The statement concluded by affirming that such efforts pave the way for a more peaceful and secure future.
