Syrian security forces seize mines and ammunition in Homs countryside
HOMS, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Internal Security in Homs governorate announced on Tuesday the seizure of more than 150 mines and various types of ammunition in the al-Mukhram area of the Homs countryside.
According to official statements from the Internal Security Directorate in Homs, “Following careful monitoring and tracking operations, the directorate discovered a cache of weapons and various ammunition in al-Mukhram.”
The authorities indicated that the arms were hidden in a pit and included over 150 mines of various types, both individual and guided, as well as warhead charges for RPGs, long-range binoculars, and hand grenades.
