Israel launches new wave of airstrikes on Damascus, Suwayda
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli warplanes launched on Wednesday evening a new round of airstrikes targeting multiple locations in the Damascus countryside, just hours after earlier strikes hit the Syrian capital.
The evening attacks targeted key military positions, including the Mezzeh Military Airport and the mountains of Muadamiyat al-Sham, with multiple airstrikes.
Additional strikes hit the vicinity of the Regiment 100 base near Qatana in southwestern countryside of Damascus.
In parallel, Israeli aircraft also bombed military positions belonging to Syria’s General Security Directorate in the southern governorate of Suwayda.
Earlier in the day, Israeli air raids struck government sites in Damascus, resulting in several deaths and numerous injuries.
