War remnant blast injures girl in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A girl was injured on Wednesday following the explosion of unexploded ordnance in the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local source told North Press that the incident occurred when sanitation workers burned a pile of waste, inadvertently triggering a bomb hidden within it.
The explosion took place in the al-Joura neighborhood in central Deir ez-Zor and caused injuries to a girl who was nearby at the time.
The source added that the girl sustained moderate injuries and was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment.
