Israeli forces arrest Iran-linked operatives in southern Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces announced on Monday the arrest of a cell allegedly operated by Iran’s Quds Force in the Tel Qadna area of southern Syria.

According to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, the spokesperson of the Israeli forces stated that Israeli forces carried out a nighttime operation on Sunday that led to the arrest of a cell operated by the Iranian Quds Force in the Tel Qadna area.

This marks the second such operation within a week. Israeli forces have reportedly conducted another targeted nighttime raid in the same region, apprehending individuals said to pose a security threat, according to the newspaper.

On July 2, the Israeli forces announced a similar operation in southern Syria, during which a cell allegedly working for Iran was captured.
