Gunmen suspected to be affiliated with ISIS kill man in Syria’s Homs
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Gunmen suspected to be affiliate with the Islamic State (ISIS) killed on Sunday a man in the eastern countryside of Homs, central Syria.
A local source told North Press that armed individuals suspected to be affiliated with ISIS stormed the home of 42-year-old Ghanem al-Raad and shot him dead in front of his family while chanting ISIS slogans in the town of al-Sukhnah, eastern Homs.
The source added that the killing may have been motivated by al-Raad’s alleged cooperation with former regime forces.
“The gunmen accused him of providing information about the group,” the source said, citing what the gunmen told the victim’s relatives.
