Israeli forces arrest two men in Syria’s Quneitra

QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli army forces arrested on Friday two young men from the countryside of Quneitra in southern Syria.

A local source told North Press that Israeli forces stormed the town of Taranja in the Quneitra countryside and arrested the young men Kinan Bakr and Ali Bakr, who are from the town.

The source added that one of the town’s residents fired at the Israeli forces during the arrest operation, leading to a clash between them before he managed to flee.

The source indicated that the Israeli soldiers took the two young men into the Golan Heights, while the reason for their arrest remains unknown at this time.

The source stated that this is not the first time that Israeli forces have arrested young men from Quneitra in southern Syria without disclosing the reasons for their arrest.
