Syrian Foreign Minister Meets Italian Delegation

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, Asaad Al-Shaibani, the Foreign Minister of Syria’s interim government, met with a delegation from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the state-run SANA agency.

Diplomatic delegations from various Arab and foreign countries have been arriving in Damascus following the fall of the ousted regime and its leader, Bashar al-Assad.

The Italian delegation discussed “Syria’s future and avenues for bilateral cooperation” with Minister Al-Shaibani during the meeting.

The delegation affirmed Italy’s support for the new administration and its commitment to ongoing collaboration with Syria.
