Israel launches airstrikes on military sites in Syria
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israel launched late on Friday airstrikes on military sites along the Suwayda road in southern Syria.
Syrian media reported that the Israeli strikes hit the Tel al-Qalayb area and the vicinity of the town of al-Kafr, where military barracks are situated along the Suwayda road, accompanied by the presence of warplanes overhead.
Since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, Israel has carried out near-daily airstrikes targeting military sites, warehouses, and weapon storage facilities across Syria, resulting in extensive damage.
Additionally, warplanes targeted military installations on Mount Qasioun in Damascus and other locations in the city of Masyaf in Hama Governorate, central Syria.
The Israeli forces reiterated that the purpose of its ongoing operations in Syria is to ensure the security of Israel.
